The Jammu and Kashmir Board of School Education (JKBOSE) has issued an important notification for all affiliated Government and Private High/Higher Secondary Institutions under the Jammu Division, including District Leh. As per the latest Notification No. F(Regn-B)/Corr/9th/JD/25 dated 09-09-2025, the board has announced the schedule for making corrections in registered particulars of students for various classes.
The notification covers Class 9th (Session 2024–25) and Eligibility candidates of Classes 10th, 11th, and 12th for Annual Regular 2025–26 sessions. Schools can now apply for correction in student records within the given dates from 20-10-2025 to 01-11-2025. The process involves a correction fee and submission of supporting documents through offline mode. This step ensures data accuracy for the upcoming JKBOSE Examinations 2025–26.

Correction Schedule and Fee Details

1. For Class 9th (Session 2024–25)

• Institutions can apply for corrections in registered particulars of students who will appear in the Class 10th Examination, Annual Regular Oct-Nov 2025 (W/Z) and 2026 (S/Z).
• Correction Fee: ₹1500/- per candidate
• Application Window: From 20-10-2025 to 01-11-2025

2. For Eligibility Candidates (Classes 10th, 11th & 12th)

• Schools can submit correction applications for candidates whose details are recorded in online Eligibility Forms for Annual Regular 2026 (S/Z) and Oct-Nov 2025 (W/Z) sessions.
• Correction Fee: ₹500/- per candidate
• Application Window: From 20-10-2025 to 01-11-2025

How to Apply for Correction in JKBOSE Registered Particulars

Follow these steps to submit correction applications through your institution:

1. Visit your respective school/institution affiliated with JKBOSE.
2. Collect the correction form as per the board’s official format (Annexure-A).
3. Fill in accurate details requiring correction (e.g., name, parentage, DOB, etc.).
4. Attach supporting documents such as school records or certificates verifying the correction.
5. Pay the required correction fee through the institution (₹1500 for Class 9th and ₹500 for others).
6. The Assistant Secretaries/In-charge Officers will verify and consolidate all cases.
7. The verified forms will be forwarded offline to the Registration Returns Section (JD), along with all supporting documents before the last date.

Important Points to Remember

• The correction window is strictly from 20 October 2025 to 01 November 2025 — no requests after the deadline.
• All corrections must be submitted through respective institutions only; individual submissions will not be accepted.
• Institutions must ensure that the details match official school records.
• The process applies to all schools under Jammu Division and District Leh.
• Late submission or incomplete documentation may lead to rejection of the correction request.
