- Jammu and Kashmir Police Service (JKPS)

The CCE is held in three stages — Preliminary Exam, Main Examination, and Personality Test (Interview). The Prelims act as the first screening stage to shortlist candidates for the Mains.

📘 Exam Structure & Pattern
The JKPSC CCE Preliminary Examination comprises two papers:
- Paper I – General Studies (GS-I)
- Paper II – General Studies (CSAT/Qualifying Paper)
Each paper carries 200 marks, making a total of 400 marks for the Prelims stage.
- Both papers are objective-type (Multiple Choice Questions).
