JKBOPEE Paramedical Counselling 2026: The Jammu and Kashmir Board of Professional Entrance Examinations has started the first round counselling process for admission into 10th Based Paramedical Diploma Courses including FMPHW and MMPHW programmes for the academic session 2026.

Candidates whose names appeared in the provisional merit list released through Notification No. 053-BOPEE of 2026 can participate in the online counselling and preference submission process from 09 May 2026 to 12 May 2026.

Who Can Participate in Counselling?

Candidates willing to participate in the counselling process should ensure they meet the required eligibility conditions mentioned by the board.

• Applicants must have appeared in the Common Entrance Test conducted by JKBOPEE
• Candidate names should appear in the provisional merit list
• Students must possess valid domicile documents of Jammu and Kashmir
• Reserved category certificates should be valid and issued before the prescribed last date
• Candidates should satisfy educational qualification conditions mentioned in the admission notification
• Admission will remain provisional until document verification at the allotted institute

Online Preference Filling Process

Eligible candidates must complete the online choice filling process within the prescribed timeline. Candidates should carefully select institutes and courses according to their preference.

Key Instructions Issued by JKBOPEE

The board has released several important instructions for candidates participating in the admission process. Students should read all counselling guidelines carefully before submitting preferences.

• No counselling fee will be charged for this counselling round
• Candidates can participate provisionally even if some documents were not uploaded earlier
• All original documents must be produced during admission at the allotted institute
• Seat allotment will be based on merit rank and reservation rules
• Wrong information submitted during application may lead to cancellation of admission
• Category certificates issued after 24 March 2026 will not be accepted
• Preference submission does not guarantee admission into a selected college

Reservation and Seat Allotment Policy

The admission authority will allot seats according to reservation norms applicable in Jammu and Kashmir. The board has clarified that seat allocation will follow the provisions notified through S.O. 176 dated 15 March 2024 and S.O. 305 dated 31 May 2024. Candidates belonging to reserved categories should ensure that all certificates remain valid during admission verification.

The seat matrix for participating colleges and institutions will be uploaded separately before the counselling process starts. Candidates should check the number of available seats before locking their preferences.
