The agency has already arrested three members of a family accused of arranging and circulating a “guess paper” that reportedly matched several questions from the NEET-UG examination.

According to officials, the accused allegedly supplied the paper through coaching centres and local contacts before the examination. The case gained wider attention after investigators revealed that one accused father allegedly paid nearly Rs 10 lakh to obtain early access to the paper for his son, who still managed to score only 107 marks out of 720. The probe has also uncovered a flat in Sikar allegedly used as a coordination centre for communication and paper distribution. The CBI is now examining the role of coaching networks, students, and middlemen connected to the case.

CBI Arrests Three Members of Same Family

The CBI has arrested three accused in connection with the alleged NEET UG 2026 Paper Leak operation. Those arrested include brothers Dinesh Biwal and Mangilal Biwal along with Mangilal’s eldest son Vikas.

According to investigators, the accused allegedly arranged a “guess paper” before the examination and supplied it to students through coaching networks operating in Sikar district. Officials believe the paper had a close resemblance to the actual NEET examination.

The agency suspects that the accused family members were involved in communication, delivery, and coordination activities linked to the paper leak network.

Search Continues for Rishi Bival

The CBI is also searching for Rishi Bival, son of accused Dinesh Bival. Investigators claim he allegedly received access to the leaked question paper before the NEET examination.

However, despite the alleged access, officials said Rishi scored only 107 marks out of 720 in the examination. Sources connected with the investigation stated that Dinesh allegedly admitted during questioning that he paid around Rs 10 lakh in Sikar to obtain the paper for his son.

Officials confirmed that Rishi is currently absconding and efforts are underway to trace him.

Academic Records Came Under Investigation

During the probe, investigators also reviewed the academic background of Rishi Bival. According to officials, his earlier academic performance was weak.

The investigation reportedly found:

  • He passed Class 10 with nearly 44 per cent marks
  • He secured second division in Class 12
  • Grace marks were allegedly required to clear Class 12
  • He scored 254 marks out of 500 in the RBSE Senior Secondary Examination 2026

Officials stated that some members of the network acted as couriers and physically delivered study material or leaked papers to candidates before the examination.

The agency suspects Dinesh Bival and certain family members may have played a role in these delivery operations.

The investigation has also placed several coaching hubs and local contacts under scrutiny. Officials are examining how the “guess paper” was circulated among students and whether additional candidates gained advance access to examination content.
